While shooting my last installation in partnership with @blackrocksenegal and the @usembassydakar, I traveled to Lake Retba aka the Pink Lake in Senegal. Many Locals of this region rely on the salt the lake produces for their livelihood. Due to industrialization and pollution happening around the lake, the lake has shrunken severely over the years threatening the future of this practice.
