Not a before and after but more of like a *me living my life and prioritizing my health over my looks*
I’m going to be honest and say that the bloating at night lately hasn’t been as bad as the picture on the right... I want you to know that it’s normal to feel a little bloated some nights, it’ll all depend on the day and how you chose to fuel that day... but here are some tips I’ve learned throughout the years that help me out:
🌟 EAT EARLY! Stop macro hoarding!!! I know the fear of being hungry at night is awful BUT if you don’t overcome that fear, nothing will change.
🌟 Introduce more low volume, high calorie food! Love me some bagels, rice, eggs, nut butters, higher fat proteins, etc.
🌟 Reduce artificial sweeteners & with that if you’re eating more than 1 protein bar a day... that might be an issue!
🌟 Stop eating big amounts of raw vegetables (again out of fear of being hungry)
🌟 Manage your stress! Your day to day life stress as well as trying to control your activity, stressing about calories, exercise, steps, etc.
🌟Figure out what food is making you bloat! Dairy, nuts, raw veggies, broccoli, Brussels sprouts are some of the most common :)
🌟Big breaths and mindful eating
Lastly, if you’re undereating and/or underweight understand that this is your body trying to digest food when is not in a sympathetic state. Undereating/Overexercising is A HUGE STRESSOR for the body! So DITCH THE F#CKING DIET! & focus on your health :)
Happy Sunday Hope this helps ❤️ let me know if you have any other question 🙋🏼♀️ and what is a food that you had to take out due to digestive issues??
