Attention Dinner Party People! This one’s for you. Romilly Newman is a local tastemaker, recipe developer, and food stylist who has worked with the likes of Cherry Bombe, Soho House, and James Beard Award winning chef, writer, and TV host, Sophia Roe. Romilly’s elegant creations are the stuff of dinner party dreams, so we asked her about some of her go-to ingredients for entertaining guests! Follow her here: @romillynewman Polenta Sourdough Pullman "There are few things better than really good bread with salted butter. Serve this before dinner, during dinner, or pre-dessert with cheese." Mint "Come summer, I pretty much put mint in everything. My favorite simple application is to mix it with greens for a side salad, or roughly tear over grilled vegetables finished with a bit of olive oil and sea salt." Rack of Lamb "Rack of lamb is my dinner party go-to. It's season-neutral, easy to make, and always tastes delicious and looks elegant. I quickly give the rack a sear before putting it in the oven to develop a nice crust." Apricots "I like to make stewed apricots for dessert in the summer. A little spoonful of this smeared on the medium rare lamb chops is a heavenly combo." Crème Fraîche "I love crème fraîche. I love it so much. Every dessert tastes better with crème fraîche, and your stewed apricots will be so grateful for the addition."
