🧜‍♀️ Wash my silicone tail with me! 🛁 I like to wash it right after every gig. You won’t believe the stuff that sticks to my tails during pool parties, or the amounts of chlorine I swim in. 🤢 It’s so important to keep my tail clean and after two years, this has worked wonders. Washing - I soak it in the bathtub in cool water or lukewarm with a few cups of white vinegar. It helps fight mold and mildew. Sometimes I use antibacterial dish soap too because it makes me feel better lol If I don’t have access to a tub while I travel I hose it outside, fill a bucket with water and white vinegar, grab a big sponge, scrub it, rinse it, then I let it drain. Drying - My tail stands kept on breaking from the weight of this tail and they’re not easy to travel with so these days I just lay it out with my shell in it and let the fan do it’s job! The fan is really the key for drying it and letting air circulate inside of it. It usually dries overnight with this fan which is MERFECT for when I perform several days back to back. Do you like seeing these behind the scenes of my work or would you rather just continue seeing my performances? Let me know in the comments! 💫 #mermaid #professionalmermaid #mermaidtail #interesting #oddlysatisfying #clean #mermaidtails
