four years ago today, I awoke in the middle of the night with my infant daughter Rishi on my chest. She wasn’t breathing. She took flight silently, as sages do, and we were left to sob and start from scratch, completely broken. We returned to Rishikesh, India to deliver her ashes to the Ganges... and signals from the universe presented themselves everywhere. Our spirit detective work included numerology, astrology, animal signs, and for me - a lot of musical transcription. I recorded over a dozen demos during our travels there, and I’m happy to announce that after nearly three years of work in the studio with @big_nitty & @idiot_room - this collection of songs will surface on 11.11.22 - in communion with, dedication to, and celebration of our teacher, our beloved Rishi 🌸
