As an alumni of Central Saint Martins and London College of Fashion, Maison Bent Founder, Shanna Bent refined her craft and inspiration during her time at Agent Provocateur, Roland Mouret and others. Prior to showcasing her graduate collection at LCF’s Press Show, Shanna was a finalist for Whistle’s SS12 Sustainable capsule collection competition and a runner up for designing uniforms for the 2012 Olympic games in London. In February 2020, Maison Bent showcased its first ever solo Presentation in Central London. Followed by an on-schedule London Fashion Week Event in September and a digital appearance in February 2021. Maison Bent celebrate Caribbean heritage throughout each collection with a large focus on Generation Windrush,each piece is designed and made in London to minimise carbon emissions and to support local communities.
