God doesn’t just change you. He restores the masterpiece He made. God slowly took away the parts of me that I had picked up on my own, the things that never really belonged to who He created me to be. As I’ve been growing in Him, I’ve learned that character means so much to His heart. Each day feels like a little step forward, and when I look back, I see how different I am from the person I was when I first surrendered. It makes me grateful, because I know He’s still shaping me.
