This ride still frustrates me. Last thing you want on one of the biggest waves of the day on the biggest swell of the year is an obstacle course of guys paddling out (3 all in my way if you look closely). Thought i might be able to thread the needle for a split second but quickly realized I had no choice but to jump. No one got hurt so really can’t complain. All good. Our surf season is around the corner and am looking forward to days like this! #waimeabay
