And OK, I know this is a really graphic, kind of gross thing to reference for a song, but some reason I keep thinking about that boiling frog apologue. The one where, you know, if you put a frog in boiling water it will jump out, but if you put it in warm water and slowly turn up the heat, the frog won’t perceive any threat and well, yeah, will be cooked to death.
