I am proud to share with you all one of my first project I recently directed and choreographed. 2020 has been the most toughest and surreal moments in history. And for most, mental abuse/health is one that many battle; yet, it has become much more challenging during these extreme times. This was a personal circumstance that took a toll on my well-being for years; and even more-so this year. The subliminal messages and metaphors portrayed, is a mere reflection of the battles I’ve faced and the abusive highlights of my past I had to overcome. I’m doing better, and I am proud to recognize how much I’ve grown. From Self-love and self-care, to knowing my worth and identity - were few of the goals I have been working on this year. It hasn’t always been easy, and the reminders to not be so hard on myself, or completely lost and unsure of how to show myself love, is a really effing hard process. I’m still healing and fighting, but I’ve grown to become vulnerable with my joy and happy moments. As of now, it feels like my heart is beginning to be filled with positivity and euphoria - I feel good! I am happy and I am grateful for everything that has happened this year. Of all that being said, I’d like to finish off 2020 as a gift from me to you.
