ITINERARY: Glacier National Park 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 Hands down, my favorite national park I’ve ever been to! Any questions? Hikes: • Cracker Lake (Gatorade blue water) - 12 miles & 1650ft elevation gain • Iceberg Lake (Blue water w/ icebergs)- 9.3 miles + 1450ft elevation gain • Highline Trail (INCREDIBLE views throughout a tall & narrow trail above glacier)- 13 Miles + 2800 elevation • Grinnell Lake Glacier (my favorite hike!): 11.2 Miles + 2180ft elevation gain • St Mary's Falls (cool cliff jump on the bridge!)- 3 miles + 452ft elevation gain • Hidden Lake Overlook (Great for Families)- 2.9 Miles + 567ft elevation gain • Avalanche Lake (Great for Families!)- 5.9 Miles + 757ft elevation gain Things to Do: • Lake McDonald-- This is where I did a lot of swimming + this is a great sunset spot! • Going-to-the-Sun-- you need a reservation but this is one of the prettiest roads in America • Bowman Lake-- this is a STUNNING lake w/ pretty rocks. A lot of classic glacier shots come from this spot. • St Mary's Lake at Sunrise • Many Glacier Lodge- this is one of my favorite lodges ever! You will feel like you are in Switzerland! • Swim at Two Medicine Lake or Swiftcurrent Lake • Eat Huckleberry Bear claws in West Glacier! Reservation System: • You MUST have a reservation to get into Going-to-the-Sun road. You can get these reservations on the Rec.Gov App • Park Campsites & McDonald Lake boat/paddle board rentals ALSO COUNT towards a reservation! • If you don’t have any of these, you can access the road at 4pm. General Notes: ◦ West Glacier-- the most popular & busy entrance. This gives you the quickest access to Lake McDonald, Avalanche Lake, Bowman Lake & Going-to-the-Sun Road ◦ East Glacier-- This is the least busy side of Glacier. This gives you access St. Mary's Lake & Falls & Road-to-the-Sun Road ◦ Many Glacier- This is MY PERSONAL FAVORITE AREA! You do NOT need a reservation to come to this side of the park.
