I was bullied about my weight, appearance, and intellect because I had to repeat a grade to fit the age group of my peers. I mostly kept to myself and became obsessed with drawing and art to escape from the noise and express myself. I have overcome image issues. I have overcome being out of shape. I have overcome self-hatred. I am learning and growing everyday in the company of an awesome family and community of friends 🙏🏻❤️‍🩹 I now love my past-self like a little brother and this is who I run for (among other things)—to encourage and affirm myself that all will only get better and better 🏃🏻‍♂️❤️ #transformationtuesday
