He earned his first career GRAMMYs as a member of The Beatles and posthumously earned his only solo GRAMMY for Album Of The Year for Double Fantasy, which was released just weeks before his death in 1980. ✨ The singer, songwriter, musician and peace activist was honored with a #RecordingAcademy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1991, and again in 2014 as a member of the Beatles.
