Scenes from a relaxing weekend upstate at @wylderhotelwind 🏔️🍷✨🦫🌲 @wylderhotelwind is a 20-acre resort located in the Great Northern Catskill Mountains, just a couple hours drive (or train!) from NYC, but feels worlds away! If you’re looking for a great weekend trip, I highly recommend The Catskills and a stay at @wylderhotelwind. Here’s an itinerary to have the best weekend upstate: 🏔️ Check into @wylderhotelwind. The property has a 140 year history and is situated on 20-acres along the Batavia Kill River. The grounds are peaceful and the interiors are gorgeous, I was really blown away by how charming the hotel is. Another plus, the variety of on-site (free for guests!) activities the hotel hosts. 🏔️ Partake in @wylderhotelwind’s activities and amenities. In my short stay I spent time in their wood fired saunas, did a paint and sip, took a cocktail making class at the hotel bar, and spent time at the fire pits making s’mores. The hotel also offers yoga classes, pickleball, shuttle service to the mountains and a heated pool. 🏔️ If you do want to go off property, I liked checking out @briarsandbramblesbooks and other local boutiques. You can also book a spa service at nearby Skin Concept. There are a variety of breweries in the area, too. 🏔️ @babblersny is a restaurant and bakery connected to the hotel. The food is incredible! I loved their hummus and burrata at dinner, and their bakery items and pancakes were amazing at breakfast.
