The mountains are calling—will you answer? In Central Oregon that call sounds like thunderous waterfalls, rustling ferns and feathers, skyscraper trees creaking in the wind, docked rowboats clamoring, and the drip drop tune of passing rain clouds. It is subtle and rich and full of possibilities. And it called to Haley and Brian. They knew that this was THE place for their wedding day. Dapperly dressed, with boots securely laced, these two were ready to hike and paddle the day away! The hike to the waterfall was leisurely and had all the makings of an iconic PNW day. Once we made it to Proxy Falls, Haley and Brian carefully picked their way along the mossy rocks to the base of the waterfall. As they exchanged vows they also exchanged fierce looks of admiration, deep glowing smiles, and gentle touches. Afterwards we headed to a nearby lake. It was peaceful and quiet as Haley and Brian strolled along the docks and enjoyed a tasty picnic. They then hopped into a rowboat. Facing each other, knee to knee, all smiles they paddled out to the middle of the lake. Until the sun disappeared behind a nearby peak they simply floated, admiring each other and the surrounding views. Haley and Brian’s elopement day mirrored the beautiful and serene landscape they explored. I can’t wait to meet whoever the mountains call out to next. xx Tori
