Working in conservation is a constant battle, but I know I am not alone. Together we ended the use of highly destructive driftnets off the coast of California and kept big oil out of the fragile fjords of Northern Norway. Just this past year alone, we helped secure stronger protections for over 120 shark species and expanded marine protected areas within the Eastern Tropical Pacific.
