Starting at the age of 7, the children at this Ukrainian school are training to become military cadets.⁠ ⁠ They are sent to this weekday boarding school on the outskirts of Kyiv to learn discipline. But now, many see the skills being taught here as essential to their survival, returning to class with the country at war.⁠ ⁠ The school officially reopened Friday for the first time since Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24.
