Velvet Ribbon... the story so far... Did you know the inspiration behind Velvet Ribbon literally came from a dream? I dreamt one night about lips made of real velvet, so the next time I was on a shoot, I cut out shapes from real velvet and applied them to the models lips (see the result in the first image of this reel!) 💋 I started to think how I could turn this effect into an everyday reality - and Velvet Ribbon was born! The rest is makeup history... There have been countless, incredible red lip moments that belong to this special, suits-everyone shade, and whenever I see a photo of your beautiful faces in Velvet Ribbon... I get the same rush! Whether it’s a photo of one of my clients walking down the red carpet, a bride wearing Ribbon on her wedding day, or just a selfie of you taking Ribbon out on the town.
