Jacqueline Humphries built up her work “Untitled” (2022) by various methods of applying, layering, and removing paint. With gestural patches of fluorescent pink and black paint, stenciled imagery, spray paint, and the use of a palette knife, Humphries gives the work an almost printed quality.
