Colorado 🧡 We’re finally back after 39hours of traveling. My state has unfortunately gotten much worse. Sorry to friends and family for not sending individual updates. My vision is often too crossed up to read and write. As of right now, I can’t walk/stand at all. When the nausea pills allow me to eat, I can’t hold my food steady to my mouth. There are also near constant head twitches and sometimes whole body convulsions keep me up at night. The ER in Cape Town thought I had a lesion on my cerebellum, but luckily the MRI showed otherwise, so something in the ear is still our best guess. They prescribed me some strong anti-nausea pills and told us to get home and into an ENT as soon as we get back. 4 flights and only one barf bag (🎉) later, I am finally laying down again. And in my own bed 🥹 The soonest ENT appointment we’ve been able to find is on the 16th, but I do have an appointment with my primary care doctor first thing in the morning on the 11th so hopefully with his referral I will be able to see someone sooner. This has been so bizarre and emotional to watch myself spontaneously and rapidly decline like this. Thank you everyone who’s helped through this crazy last week. @paulrobinson87 has been a saint and working his butt off making sure I have everything I need and we both so appreciate all the help we’ve gotten. I will not be replying to comments/messages/texts all that much because of the strain it is, but friends and family, you can all check in with Paul anytime.
