Hello. It’s me. I’ve been in a small hole of despair. A small one, mind. One brought on by too many deadlines and a house move. My friends have sold the home they kindly agreed to let us stay in for a few months, and yup, the house I bought is nowhere near ready to move into because I only completed at the end of summer and it needs a lick of paint and a new bathroom. No major works, says the woman who, upon being told last week.. “We have some bad news”.... ....went directly to the pub to drink alone. Bad news. A huge. And I mean HUGE crack beneath the upstairs bay window. In other news, I need to order tiles. This week. I like this bathroom by @handelsmannkhaw but no clue where to find the tiles. As for choosing paint colours. Hahah!!!!! Oh man, it’s like being at fashion month. I love bright blue oh wait no, I adore terracotta. The next day it’s all about yellow, the following evening I’m into bold green. I move on Saturday. One van with my clothes will go to Claire’s. One van with pictures, a sofa, bits and bobs and books will go to storage. If anyone fancies buying anything, I’m about to upload that great @tacchini_italia_forniture red daybed to @ebay plus a super king bed frame from @loafhome and a bunk bed, and a small double, and a single, and and ... then I’m sofa surfing for a few weeks. Can you hear it? The laughter of a woman on the edge? Hahahaah!!!! ONE GOOD THING: THIS IS MY LAST HOUSE MOVE FOR AT LEAST A DECADE. AND!! I can decorate this house however the fuck I like because I’m SINGLE. Ha! #divorce
