Weather & Services Advisory #07 – TC Cody⁠ Monday 10th of January 2022 at 4.45 pm⁠ ⁠ This advisory #07 is in addition to advisory #6 which was issued at 4.00pm today. The only changes being that the Maritime Safety Authority of Fiji (MSAF) has now lifted the suspension of marine clearances for us to operate tomorrow and as a result please be informed as follows:⁠ ⁠ • Resort Connection services to and from resorts in the Mamanuca Islands will operate tomorrow, Tuesday 11thof January 2022 as scheduled with a departure from Port Denarau at 9.00am. ⁠ ⁠ Weather conditions for tomorrow are forecasted to remain unpleasant with winds of more than 20 knots, gusting to over 30 knots at times causing the continuation of rough seas. On this basis, please note the safe operation of all services remain subject to the latest weather forecast and sea conditions and services may be disrupted or suspended at the discretion of both our operations team and/or the vessel’s captain with little or no notice. This includes the possibility of suspending services whilst underway. It should also be noted our scheduled Resort Connection service may also be cancelled with little or no notice if our vessel crew are unable to safely access Port Denarau tomorrow morning due to localized flooding.
