Some of my favorite photos (and BTS moments) from our Ba Bao Zhou shoot, of @wingonwoandco’s matriarch Nancy Seid in her Ginseng Jacket, photographed with her granddaughter @meilum outside of the family’s 97-year old Chinatown porcelain shop. Nancy, 92 years old this year, was an absolute trooper during our shoot. We did our best to keep it low-key and fun for her, with @meilum hanging close by as Nancy’s #1 hype-woman. “Look at Mei, look at Mei!” we’d say. That’s all it took for the biggest smile to spread across Nancy’s face, her whole spirit lighting up. It was too much for my heart.
