I want to take a moment to share with you all the beautiful life of my Mami.🌹✨️🎨 My Mami always wanted to be a fashion designer in Colombia. 🇨🇴 But instead she became the best mother in the world in my eyes.💖 She dedicated 38 years of being an amazing Mother. She didn't have the opportunity to pursue her dream, but I know she will always carry that passion for fashion. This photo you see: My Mami made these designs happen for my graduating art theses show at USF. These necklaces are made of Virgin hair extensions. I sketched out the measurements and rough idea where they would land on the body....and my Mami hand stitched these beautiful necklaces. It took three days for my Mami to hand stiched the necklaces. She was so happy to be apart of this project and I was so lucky to have her. We made these necklaces with the intention of bringing the beauty of curly hair.
