A portrait from my project called “Circles of activism” exploring my Nigerian heritage and nature. The alchemy plant called Indigofera tinctoria is the plant that is widely used on textiles across Nigeria and of course, sensationalized the denim industry. I decided to spotlight the amazing born and bred Nigerian eco fashion brand ‘THIS IS US’. My project proposal caught the eyes of the @adobe development fund team and I was excited to have the opportunity to make important work within the country I come from.
