California cort is kind of thriving — but honestly moving to another state is hard. i am always traveling, so i assumed the move would be be easy. adapting to a new environment that you want to call ~home~ is a lot harder than just being on the go & adapting when you’re traveling for work or fun. i have found myself with more alone time than ever before, uncertainty about my decisions & too much time to think, more time just being at home (which anyone who knows me understands i am terrible at), and just an overall sense that i am sometimes missing out with my friends & family. all that being said — in the midst of uncertainty i feel incredibly stoked to be so close to the ocean & surfing more than ever. i feel happy to be exploring a new place and challenging myself in areas of my life that i felt too comfortable, and understanding that alone time is important though i rarely give it to myself. despite things being a bit challenging, i am so happy with my decision and excited to continue to grow in this California chapter of life — but if traffic could not exist i would be just a liittttttle happier. 🥲 ...and i consider moving back into my van almost daily hahahah. it’s fine, i’m fine. 😮‍💨 last pic is the update of my “shark bite” lol
