“The Park Bench” by Victoria Misu - A film to transition into autumn! Who’s excited for fall? Log line: As summer exchanges pleasantries with autumn, our two strangers meet unexpectedly at the park bench to exchange words slowly formed on their typewriters. Starring: Victoria as Summer, @rewindmuffin as Handsome Stranger, featuring these beautiful Hermes typewriters borrowed from another set, @tyndalltypewriters Synopsis: “The Park Bench” necessitates the slowness and intimacy of communication in this particular interaction, when two strangers meet in a moment of serendipity, and realize, The stars in my eyes meet with the stars in your soul. The impetus behind this piece came from our actual film @tyndalltypewriters - dir/writ by @tadams6113, myself as a producer, with so many incredible persons behind and in front of the camera. It features the beautiful Hermes 3000 typewriter, which sets the color toning of some scenes in the film, and is why Jon and I both wore this shade of green to the movie’s premier last year! A core theme of “Tyndall Typewriters” is the juxtaposition Thomas, the main character (@theo_iv) finds himself in with other characters who may own antiques, but he understands antiques - namely, typewriters. Communication styles, expectations, and mediums are seen and discussed throughout, setting the different paces of life for each character. We had about an hour break between an event and the premier of our movie @tyndalltypewriters , so I took these two Hermes beauties and Jon around town to see what we could shoot.
