“I trust in the divine timing of my life.” This has been my mantra for the last few months. I am of the mind that all the things we so deeply want and desire are not random. We weren’t given our wants or desires out of thin air. We were given them to set out on a life path—a hero’s journey, if you will—that, give or take a few obstacles, will eventually allow us to experience them if they are aligned with the best and highest good for both ourselves and the world. I also believe it’s true that the things, people, experiences, etc., we desire may also show up in a different way than we think they will. It may be in an entirely different, more glorious form than we had ever previously imagined. So what’s our job in this entire scenario? I believe it’s to remove the barriers in which we have built up that say we aren’t worthy of receiving what we want and desire. Because we innately are... who is to say we aren’t? So, with that... I trust in the divine timing of my life, and I hope you trust in the divine timing of yours, too. Write the book. Take the class. Book the trip. Take the flight. Be vulnerable. Open yourself to love. All of these inclinations, all of the openness you exhibit to follow these inclinations, are leading you somewhere—perhaps to a destination you may not even know yet. But the dots will surely connect and everything will work out in the exact time it’s supposed to... even if that means we encounter some valleys along the way, which can sometimes be our biggest, most profound growth moments in life.
