Something totally new was happening in make-up and in beauty. INGE GROGNARD — It was a reaction to actions that came before. Growing up with Thierry Mugler, Claude Montana, and all this glam world. But suddenly the Japanese designers arrived in Paris. That opened up everything for us. My group of friends in Belgium wanted to do something that had not happened before.
