Did you delay your baby’s first bath? 🛁 Yesterday Ben had his first bath, in our extremely fancy baby bath I might add, at 11 days old 🥰 When I had my daughter in the hospital, 10 years ago, they bathed her on the day she was born, but with jack, and now Ben, I’ve stuck to the delay as everything I’ve read has lead me to believe they don’t need to have all the natural goodness washed off their skin so soon 💕 Babies are born with a protective layer (varnix), or a force field as I like to think of it, and although good hygiene can prevent numerous bad things, like infections, I also think you can have to much of a good thing and being to “clean” can be just as bad, but that’s just my thoughts, I mean how dirty can a baby get anyways 😊 P.s Jack wasn’t to happy seeing Ben using his water play pan and just had to reclaim it after 😂
