🦋✨🌷🫂💖 me & el got free tickets to the butterfly museum, planned an afternoon to go, & couldn’t even fathom how loved by Jesus we felt when the moment finally came for our adventure. we stepped into the garden & became overwhelmed with childlike wonder as gentle canvases of God Himself crowned us with their flight. it felt like a dream. just about every day since, I keep finding reminders of these creatures everywhere I go... from chalk drawings of butterflies in my neighborhood, to a note left for me with butterfly stickers on its envelope, to an unexpected woman with butterflies all over her phone’s lock screen as she went to show me a bible verse. I gasped at the sight of them & had to ask what butterflies mean to her. she began to say how no one could be upset at the company of a butterfly... that whenever one is around, they captivate attention & provoke desire in the admirer to catch them. she then said “people don’t often take enough time to get to know the delicate & beautiful things of life”. I want to take time to get to know the butterflies.
