 Giant Pacific octopuses are like kids at a candy store when they stumble upon a crab or prawn trap!

It’s no surprise that these curious creatures regularly find themselves caught inside or around traps while they’re on the hunt for snacks!!!

⚠️ Remember even though a giant pacific octopus can weigh up to 70.7 kg (156 lbs) and have an arm span the length of a car... they can still fit through any space they can squeeze their beaks through (which are grape sized!)

So ya can’t blame ‘em! They’re just trying to get in on the seafood feast! 

While this octo was gripping the trap like a pro-basketball player— often time fisherman open the trap to a massive octopus and crab shells licked clean! 

These majestic beauties are just looking for a cozy spot to rest and hide from their own predators! They’re a squishy floating protein bar to lots of animals! 

Either way, it’s always important to be mindful of our eight-armed friends and make sure they can safely go about their business! This squishy puppy dog ended up dropping it’s ball and disappeared into the frigid waters of Vancouver 🇨🇦 📍Canada #wondermore
