hey y’all! after three wild days, @toyplanesdontcrash wrapped principal photography earlier this month. for me, those three days were anything a blur — i remember every moment vividly: the good, the bad, and the ugly. and i hope i never forget a second of it. it’s been over two years since i started writing it, and bringing this story to life was everything to me. it was therapy, it was torture, it was cathartic, it was terrifying. above all, it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. to every cast and crew member, my family, friends, and of course, my amazing brother—your dedication and contributions to this project mean more than you might realize. your talent and expertise helped me recreate moments from my childhood and my family’s history. you allowed me to understand my parents on a deeper level and brought us closer together. for that, i cannot thank you all enough. i am in awe of your craftsmanship and have the utmost respect and admiration for your work. we made memories on set while recreating my family’s on camera. i couldn’t have asked for a better team, because, in those three days, we found a sense of family with one another. once again, i cannot overstate my gratitude and appreciation for everyone involved in this project. thank you so much—i love you all! i hope it’s clear how much i treasure my family, no matter how difficult or strained our relationships may sometimes be. i give my whole heart and soul to the people i love, and i hope this film reflects that sentiment. i can’t wait to see where we go from here :) and lastly, if you’re in the position to do so, call your parents. hug them. tell them you love them. love your loved ones with all your heart. <3 📸 @jonrbirondo 🎞️ @nicosphotosss
