that HALLOKWEEN season kinda mewd, hunny! 🎃 obvi inspired by @theestallion 🧡 Halloween was always a cute lil cozy holiday for my family and I ... my mother and father would take my brothers and I around our neighborhood and we’d ring our neighbors doorbells collecting our fill of candy and treats. My go to costume was vampire, gurl ... it was something about their chic and cool demeanor that I always admired as a child, but I remember one year where I decided to be a witch for Halloween. It was a year where Halloween fell on a school day so naturally I wore my witch costume to school. My teacher was waiting at the classroom door and saw my costume. “Oh, we have a lil warlock, how cute.” I looked at my mom and she looked at me. “Oh, he’s a witch,” my mom corrected them teacher using the words I had used to describe who I wanted to be that day. “Then witch it is,” my teacher gave me a high-five and I entered my classroom filled with my classmates dressed in their fabulous costumes. It was a quick interaction, but in that moment my mother used the words that my young lil self used to describe myself, and how I wanted to show up and looking back that was quite powerful. It’s the little things and moments that we always remember 🧡
