It was incredibly moving to be at the NYC Bans Off Our Bodies March w/ @lauradern @padmalakshmi @christyturlington @cyndilauper as all are longtime passionate & wonderful @plannedparenthood supporters. BUT, it’s absolutely *outrageous* that anyone has to be a l o n g t i m e supporter of the right for people to simply make decisions about their own bodies and their own lives! And, it's outrageous that their daughters, who marched alongside us, will likely have less rights than they did. One million of us gathered nationwide to express our rage on 5/14 & that gives me hope. We have to keep fighting & we all have to vote in the midterms because it’s our state lawmakers who will decide if abortion is safe & legal in our state. #BansOffOurBodies
