🫗Introducing our creative collaboration with our friends @aguamagicamezcal. 🫗The capsule imagines the outfit of a modern day 'mayordomo' - an honored role in Oaxaca dating back to the early 16th century. 🫗The mayordomo is bestowed with a great responsibility: to keep the mezcal flowing and the festivities alive. 🫗Salud! 🇲🇽 Our very first dark cabana set, evoking the embers in which the agave is cooked and the nights enriched by sipping mezcal. 🇲🇽 Original artwork by Miguel Cardenas depicting a pre-Colombian figure collecting agave straight from the source. 🇲🇽 Edge stitching as a nod to the embroidery craft for which Oaxaca is famous. 🇲🇽 The custom hangtag is... a coaster! 🇲🇽 The entire set is made of lightweight organic cotton terry cloth (exclusive of decoration). 🇲🇽 The 🌵shirt🌵features bamboo buttons and a custom interior collaboration label with live edge. 🇲🇽 The 🌵shorts🌵 feature embroidery of a Zapotec head, bamboo button closure and zip fly, and an elasticized back linked to a drawstring. 🇲🇽 The 🌵bucket hat🌵 is available in two sizes with Zapotec shell embroidery. 🫗Our friends at Agua Mágica invited us to visit the palenque in Oaxaca where their mezcal is brought to life... from humble seed to first delicious sip. 🫗The highlight of our time at the palenque was meeting Don Rogelio, Maestro Mezcalero. 🫗In addition to being an ideal drinking companion and dashing model, Don Rogelio showed us the process of making —and consuming!! — the mezcal firsthand. 🫗Learn more about the collaboration in our journal on our website.🫗
