We laid my grandma to rest on Monday. She passed on Jan 2. Starting the year without her wasn’t something I had anticipated, no matter how much I’ve been preparing for this to come. She was a pillar in my life and as I became an adult, I feel like I became one of hers. I’m filled with gratitude to have been her granddaughter and I’m so glad we had the time that we did. 🤍
