I’ve been pretty lucky all my life but I’ll probably never be as lucky as I was last Saturday when I caught @patrickwatsonofficial turning the entire strip of california highway 1 into the extension of his stage. It was freezing cold, the tiny crowd was extra lovely, and the band was so locked in that even their little imperfections sounded miraculous. Next time you catch me feeling sorry for myself just tell me to shut up because I saw Patrick Watson live at the Henry Miller Library. Special thanks to @curiosity_roving for braving that incredibly strange highway and chef @nicolausballa for sneaking us in and feeding us the most incredible food for 24 hours straight. I wish all of us a very lucky autumn.
