Next stop @valleyfest with our new project – The Alchemist’s Playground - a fully integrated creative playground for adults and kids alike. By day, kids will build their own stage from reclaimed materials in collaboration with constructive play experts, Woodland Tribe. Then, in true Arcadia style, they’ll party it, dancing all over the structure they’ve built till the sun sets. The baton passes at nightfall and as the Afterburner fires up, it’s playtime for the adults. @faithlessofficial (DJ Set), @ronisizebristol feat @dynamitemcmc and @ccfunkandsoul taking the controls alongside a host of other artists. Plus, the Lords of Lightning will be in full force, shooting multi-million-volt bolts of electricity as the flames crackle overhead. We’ve always worked with schools and youth groups, but this is the first time we’ve created a space designed for all ages. All parental responsibility will be fully underwritten by banging cocktails and quality food. The Alchemist's Playground lands at @valleyfest – (4-7th August). It’s a small family friendly festival, only 9 miles from Bristol. Overlooking Chew Valley Lake, it has one of the best views of any UK event - sited on the exact spot Arcadia first started out as kids, building our very first playgrounds.
