We popped down to Peckham Palms to visit our suppliers, Jess & Jo aka @theflygerians - two larger than life sisters transporting the vibrant flavours of Nigeria to the streets of London. The Edun sisters first started cooking from the ages of 9 & 10, learning from their Grandma & perfecting their craft along the way. They eventually turned their passion for cooking into a family-owned business, serving London some absolute gems like their: 🍗Fly wings: sweet & sticky wings drenched in mama’s forbidden sauce 🥩Suya: diced beef peppered steak, served with sweet bell peppers & onions, spiced with Nigeria’s traditional suya seasoning 🔥Jollof: signature Nigerian rice dish 🍫Chin’offee pie: sweet chin chin based banoffee pie made with sliced bananas or strawberries, caramel, cream, milk chocolate & plantain Jess & Jo champion everyone to 'chop life' (a Nigerian phrase that means to live life & enjoy yourself).
