The Basilisk was created in VR using @gravitysketch, printed, filled, plated and finished by @hexa.cubed and then augmented with music and video visuals by @variendarkgirl and @mrksteels. It was sold at auction during my last @niftygateway drop and displayed in (and subsequently stolen from) the Dreamverse gallery in New York, Nov 2021. This was a continuation of the Cyclops experiment in a sense but with a single incredible cymatic loop at it’s core. The NFT successfully sold for $7000 despite the physical being already lost in Manhattan. A second, improved physical sculpture was made for the collector and it is within the NFT is that the ownership lies. The original is no doubt displayed proudly in an underground bunker of some crypto villain. #metaheist
