👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️ My mum was a pharmacist and I grew up working in the dispensary with her. I also did all her books, accounts and payroll growing up. My dad's also a GP and really the reason I became a politician is because I saw the impact they had on our local community. It was great therefore to visit @bootsuk yesterday and talk to their staff about everything they did to help get the country through the last couple of years of coronavirus. As well as meeting apprentices and visiting a local store I hosted a Treasury Connect where I took questions on our recent cost of living support package. My parents are my inspiration for what I'm trying to do and hopefully I am making that same difference in a different way in my community as they did in ours growing up.
