Body composition π³π΅ i weigh the same in both of these images!!! 97kg
Donβt be fooled Into thinking the scales define your progress..... our weight during any phase (bulking/cutting) is a good indication that a plan is headed in the right direction ie calorie deficit - weight comes down, calorie surplus - weight goes up
There are other factors that come into play! If in a calorie deficit and also weight training you will effectively be building muscle tissue (at a slow rate) and loosing fat so your Weight could stay the same (this is dependant on how your calorie intake is structured-macronutrient split) but your body composition can change such as a reduction in waist size etc remember muscle tissue is more dense than fat meaning it weighs more.
The same goes for being in a calorie surplus you can be gaining weight at a good rate thinking things are going great but if you are not actually paying attention to your macro split and just blasting the calories in then you will of course gain a higher amount of body fat during this process meaning your body composition will again shift β
Calories in vs calories out is how we loose or gain weight but how those calories are structured is the difference between having a yogurt body or a well balanced physique πͺπ»
