Hi, I'm Melissa! It's about time for a new intro post so I can share a bit more about me🪩 My husband and I live in downtown Stamford, CT with our two black cats - Yoshie & Binx🐾. I work full-time in surgical quality at a local hospital and am the face behind the candles! I'm a soon to be boy mom (due end of June)🩵 and we're so excited! I started making candles over 2 years ago during one of the lowest points in my life. I was just about to finish a training program to work as an operating room RN but got injured moving a patient. Candle making gave me a sense of purpose & I've loved it ever since!🕯️ After doing a deep dive & learning about all of the toxins that are in most store-bought candles, I've remained committed to creating healthier and safer candles that won't cause harm to you, your family, or your pets. All of the candles I make are made with 100% soy wax, non-toxic fragrance oils and are free of dyes/additives/phthalates🌱 Some other fun facts: • My husband and I grew up in the Hudson Valley, NY & have been together since high-school💘 • I'm usually in an oversized sweater and leggings - do not let this picture fool you, I live for comfy vibes ☁️ • I survive off of iced caramel lattes year-round🤎 • I love to travel - Santorini is the dreamiest place I've ever been 🇬🇷 but Florence has the best pasta🍝🇮🇹 Thanks for being here.
