TSP DIY was created in response to restrictions placed on our community - two years later, the cultural need for this racing format is no longer universal. TSP DIY did its job in filling a temporary void created during the pandemic. TSP DIY is sunsetting after two very rad years in which thousands of athletes from more than 65 countries raced and contributed to an experience that sought to meet the moment of the global pandemic, decentralizing participation and competition at a never before seen level. The effort of the TSP community lives on though photography, films, and writing capturing the event, as well as more than $100k raised for partner organizations working at the intersection of running and racial justice.
