Somebody asked us in an interview the other day, if we had anything we would consider a “signature shot” that we always like to get. At the time, nothing all that specific came to mind. But today, while I was editing this gallery, I thought about it and I realized that a couple, in a heartfelt embrace, under the canopy of beautiful branches, with sunlight shining through... that might be a signature “Scott and Dana”. I realize, it’s a common shot and most definitely not unique to us. However the representation that an age-old tree exhibits in an image, to me, is powerful. The roots run deep giving the tree a steadfast quality, and the branches grow and change and flourish, reaching to new heights in the sunlight as the years pass. This represents all that a couple wishes for their relationship to be.
