NOW OPEN: We're accepting applications for our Baxter St Residency Open Call!⁠ •⁠ Open to all artists currently residing in New York City who are working in #photography or lens-based art, the three-month Baxter St Residency provides the selected residents with free use of the facilities and equipment at Baxter St at CCNY and a secondary photo lab for the duration of the residency during respective hours of operation if needed.⁠ •⁠ Residents will receive a stipend of $1,000 per month during their residency, as well as donated material support and a solo exhibition at Baxter St at CCNY after their term of residency with a production fee to realize their exhibition. ⁠Residents will also be part of our robust programming, including a public conversation, a video interview, and a one-on-one meeting with an Art Advisory Committee Member.⁠ •⁠ Students must have completed their studies on or before January 1, 2023 in order to be eligible to apply. Selected Baxter St applicants MUST be New York City residents for the duration of the residency period. ⁠ •⁠ The open call is free and the deadline is November 17, 2022.
