The 'Ars Amatoria' gown is made from white organic lace details and pale-pink silk that are trapped into sustainable laser-cut art-nouveau linework, embodying a futuristic bride. Fine crystal beads are embroidered to the tips of each laser-cut quill. For the ‘Singularity’ jumpsuit plantlike body embellishments are sustainably 3D-printed using left-over cocoa shell beans, diffusing the creation of plant and bone structures growing together. The body embellishments are then electroplated with copper and draped with ocher-colored overstock organza into a jumpsuit silhouette that spins down dramatically from a sculptural thumb ring. The ‘Narcissus' gown is made from white ribbons that are handstitched onto black transparent glass-organza panels, creating a surreal artwork of echoing faces, ghostly suspending the body, expressing the fine line between self-obsession and losing your sense of self. To create the ‘Genesis’ dress sustainable off-white banana leaf fabric and greeny-gold satin are softly draped to entwine and asymmetrically float down from the see-through corset, and historic drape references are combined with sculptural banana leaf folds. The 'Mano-Maya' dress is made from fine weblike lace that is gradient-dyed in blue and amethyst shades to then be trapped in black embroidered and laser-cut framework, causing the trapped spiderwebs to float. The skin subtly plays with the cathedral stained-glass-influenced linework.
