For this week’s Watching Movies on @hodinkee I wrote about the new film Confess, Fletch. It’s a special one because it’s the first movie I’ve had a chance to be a (small) part of — working with the prop master to select the watch for the lead character, Fletch. It was a Rolex Submariner ref. 1680 that myself and the good folks in the H Shop were able to help supply. The watch pictured here is not that watch. It’s my personal ref. 5513, a watch super important to me as is the Submariner, period. So it was extra special to have this model be the first watch I chose for a feature film.
