In my quest to study indigenous knowledge systems that honour the relationship between the Feminine and the earth, I was divinely led to the Q’ero - the last living direct descendants of the Inca who survived the Spanish conquest by receding high into the mountains in order to protect their knowledge and traditions, orally passing down their advanced techniques from one generation to the next. There are simply no words to describe my time spent living and studying (ongoing) with the Q’ero (Apaza lineage). There is only gratitude and deep humility for the sacred knowledge, teachings and transmissions I received. Teachings that will grow and flower in my being for the rest of my life. At this critical time in history, where we are seeing the physical manifestion of being out of balance and right relationship with our primordial Mother, the earth and one another — I honour the guardians who continue to serve as stewards of the earth. Working to keep balance, right relationship and reciprocity in all things ♾️ Guardians and protectors of our Great Mother (Pachamama), working in alliance with the sacred spirits of nature and the cosmic universe.
